Top Reasons: This large neighborhood is tucked away and not many people know about it. #5. Close to Hwy 101 - good access to Silicon Valley and the coast. #4. Even though it's small, there is a nice shopping area. #3. Close to the Portola District which is chokful of restaurants and shops. #2. It's affordable. Most homes are in the low $1 million, which is unusual in the San Francisco area. #1. McLaren Park - 313 acres, it's the 2nd largest in San Francisco including gardens, lakes, theater, paths and playgrounds. 

3 Cons: The location, it's a little remote from downtown San Francisco.  The commercial district is small and not in walking distance to most homes. Finally the Sunnydale housing projects - safety may be a concern.
