Living in the Marina District

There is something so unique and charming about Marina District in San Francisco. Bordered by Presidio on the west, the San Francisco Bay on the north, Van Ness Boulevard and Fort Mason on the east, and Richardson Avenue on the south, it is ideally located on the water but is not the busy bustling California waterfront you expect. There is a perfect balance of quiet streets and charming businesses mixed in with some of the most architecturally stunning homes. Some people who know about the area come just to stroll through the quiet streets and enjoy the beauty of the homes.

Marina District Homes

One of the biggest draws to the Marina District (outside of the quieter charming waterside culture) is the homes. This is the only area where you will find a neighborhood full of unique Spanish-style architecture that takes a break from the famous San Francisco Victorians. The Victorians are stunning in their own right, but this neighborhood has its own architectural flare that is somewhat one-of-a-kind for the city and that makes it even more special. Homes in the Marina District are often in high demand, especially among families and motivated professionals.
